Collateral pieces are long-form deliverables you create in chat and edit in the same content editor as articles, but they run through a design-focused set of stages that ends with a downloadable PDF.
The collateral types are:
Whitepapers, eBooks, and Reports move through four stages:
Brief → Outline → Written → Design
There's no Research stage, and the final stage is Design instead of Extras.
A Datasheet is shorter and skips straight to Written → Design.

The outline captures the executive summary, key takeaways or findings, and the sections themselves, each with a title, heading level, guidance, and word count. Reports also include a methodology section, and every outline ends with a call-to-action.
Unlike articles (which are written section by section), collateral is written as one continuous rich-text document. It supports footnotes, and there are no FAQs.
