Connect Google Search Console

What this is: How to connect Google Search Console (GSC), the must-have integration that powers the entire Website area and its SEO opportunity work.

Prerequisite: You need a Google account that already has access to your site's property in Google Search Console.

Google Search Console is the key that unlocks the Website overview area. Without it, search-opportunity features stay locked. See Opportunities.

Connect

1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
2. Click Connect Google Search Console.
3. A Google window opens. Sign in and authorize access.
4. Return to the app.

Pick your property

After you authorize, a property picker appears.

1. Choose your property from the list. Each is labeled either Domain property or URL-prefix property.
2. Save.

Tip: If your site appears twice, a Domain property covers your whole domain (all subdomains and both http/https). A URL-prefix property covers only the exact address it's registered under.

Configure how it syncs

Once connected, you can tune how the platform pulls search data and surfaces opportunities:

• Auto-discover opportunities: a toggle that lets the platform surface search opportunities automatically.
• Sync schedule: choose Manual, Daily, or Weekly.
• Sync now: pull the latest data on demand.

You can also adjust the thresholds that decide which pages become opportunities:

Tip: Leave the defaults on your first run. Once you see what shows up in Opportunities, come back and tighten or loosen the thresholds.

If the connection expires

Google can revoke the platform's access on its own, most often when someone removes the app under Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps, or after a long stretch of inactivity.

When that happens the card in Settings → Integrations shows Reconnect required and explains that keyword syncing has stopped. Click Reconnect Google Search Console and authorize again.

Your setup is kept. Your property choice, sync schedule, and opportunity thresholds all survive a reconnect. You don't have to set them up again. Syncing resumes on the next scheduled run.

Authorize with the same Google account you first connected. If you authorize with a different one that can't see your saved property, syncing stops again and the card returns to Reconnect required. The platform can only read properties the connected account has access to in Search Console.

What this unlocks

With GSC connected, the Website overview area comes to life and the platform can find Opportunities from your real search performance. This is the one integration that unlocks all website and SEO features.
