What this is: Plain-language definitions of the terms you'll run into across the platform, so nothing feels like jargon.

How content gets made

Agentic (chat) vs Grounded (pipeline): two ways to work. Agentic is the free-flowing chat where agents help you brainstorm and draft; grounded is the structured pipeline where content moves through fixed stages. See chat vs the pipeline.

Content project: A single piece of content moving through the pipeline, with all its stages and history in one place.

Brief: the first stage. It captures the topic, angle, audience, and goals for a piece before writing starts.

Outline: The stage that lays out the structure (sections, headings, and guidance) before the full draft.

Research stage: A stage where the platform gathers supporting sources and facts for the piece.

Written stage: The stage where the full draft is produced.

Extras stage: The final stage for articles, where you add supporting outputs (like social posts) and handle publishing. See extras & publishing.

Design stage: The final stage for collateral, where a piece becomes a branded, exportable PDF. See whitepapers, eBooks & reports.

Checkpoint: A pause in chat where an agent shows what it plans to do next and asks you to confirm or redirect, usually with a few options to choose from. Answered checkpoints stay in the transcript, showing the proposal and the option you picked.

Save offer: When an agent finishes a brief, outline, or draft in chat, it offers to save it to your library; you can keep iterating before you accept.

Polish for engagement: an optional extra pass offered on the save offer for an article draft in chat. It rewrites prose for hooks, voice, and framing without adding sections, changing headings, altering citations, or increasing length. See chat vs. the pipeline.

Unlock: Moving a project forward so the next stage becomes available to work on.

Autopilot: A hands-off mode where the platform advances content automatically.

Planning & organization

Content plan: Your forward-looking schedule of what to create and when. See content plan.

Cluster: A group of related keywords organized into a topic. See keywords & clusters.

VIP keyword: A starred priority keyword that's tracked more closely and seeds the VIP bucket in Opportunities.

Funnel stage: Where a topic sits in the buyer's journey: Awareness (TOFU), Consideration (MOFU), or Decision (BOFU).

Search intent: What a searcher is trying to do: informational, navigational, commercial, or transactional.

Website & opportunities

Opportunity bucket: A group of ranking opportunities: Near-top (close to page one's top), Page-two (just off page one), or Declining (losing position). See opportunities.

E-E-A-T: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness, the qualities that make content credible.

CRO: Conversion Rate Optimization, improving pages so more visitors take action.

Coverage: How well your existing content covers your target topics and clusters.

Gap: A topic or cluster you should cover but don't yet. See coverage & gaps.

Crawl / delta refresh: Scanning your site to build its page map; a delta refresh re-scans only what's changed. See crawl & website index.

Website index: The platform's stored map of your site's pages, built from crawling. See crawl & website index.

Brand

ICP: Ideal Customer Profile, the type of company or account you're a fit for.

Persona: A specific person you write for, with their goals and pain points.

Positioning: How you frame your brand relative to alternatives in the market.

Offering: A product or service you sell.

Sources & publishing

Trusted source: A domain the platform prefers when citing sources. See preferences & trusted sources.

Important web page: A key page you want the platform to know about and reference.

Draft publishing: When the platform sends content to your CMS, it creates a draft. You publish it live yourself in WordPress or Webflow.

RAG / knowledge (documents): Files you upload become knowledge the platform can draw on when writing. See documents.
